Places to Visit in Greece
Greece is a country of myths and legends. It is also the home of the Olympic Games today. Many movies are made with Greek background and history. To name a few – Alexander the Great, the Spartans, Troy and more. Some of the top places to visit are:
Athens
It is a must if you visit Greece. Prepare for some historical walk in the ancient Greek monuments of Acropolis. On top you will find the famous Parthenon. Then walk in the Ancient Agora, in Thiseio and In Plaka. Make sure to visit the stunning temple of Zeus, the wonderful national Gardens and wander around the Monastiraki area for 
shopping.
Delphi
It is the ancient oracle’s temple. See the ancient temple, walk inside and live this part of history. Next to the temple you will find the museum with many statues and other important pieces of history.

Dion
The temple of the ancient God Zeus on the mount Olympus. Dion is the ancient word for Zeus. There you will find what remains from a whole ancient city. Crete

Thessaloniki
Greece’s second largest city, Thessaloniki, is famous for restaurants, bars and nightlife. Explore the ancient byzantine walls and Castles. The area has been continuously settled for about 3000 years and several sites have been placed on UNESCO’s World Heritage list. The city’s old town has narrow cobbled streets and well preserved historic houses and buildings, including good examples of Turkish architecture.
Mykonos
If you like to party in the summertime, this is the ultimate destination. It is a small islands in the heart of the Aegean sea. There you will find the traditional looking, white houses with the blue windows. The seafood is excellent and fresh. There are parties every night in all corners of the mainland
Rhodes
Inhabited since the Stone Age, the island of Rhodes has a rugged, hilly interior and a rocky coast with many good beaches. There you will find medieval town with walls and the Castle created by the knights of Saint John. Make sure to visit Lindos to see the temple of Athena.
